The Holway Local Action Team was setup about 5 years ago so that residents could have a say in how the communityHolwaygreen

was run.  Its main aim is to work with  other local and regional authorities to help make our community a better place to work and live.

Holway covers a large area with in the region of 2500 homes, which means that we are a very diverse community with many different needs.

If you have any issues where you live, or would like to help in some of the projects we are running then please come along to our next meeting.  Or use this new site to contact us or post on the forum.YMCA

The LAT has achieved a huge amount over the last few years, but much can still be done so please make contact and

help to make Holway even better.

Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) is much less of a problem in Holway than it used to be, but if you are being affected by any ASB you can do something about it.

If you witness any crime then please report it straight to the police, don’t be afraid to dial 999. You can also contact your local Police team and PCSO.

You should also approach the Housing Association and other agencies e.g. Council and Knightstone, if there is any Anti-Social Behaviour as all housing associations should have their own dedicated anti social behaviour co-ordinators.

Alternatively come along to our monthly meeting or contact us.

All our meetings are shown in the calendar or you can look in Contacts to find contact details.

At the last LAT meeting the subject of Dog Fouling was raised again. We have made TDBC aware of areas in Holway that seem to be badly affected.Dog_Fouling_sign

Dog fouling is an offence and you can be prosecuted for it, with fines of up to £1000, you can report offenders to the dog warden on 01823 356356 or online here

Can I please urge members of the community to pickup after their dog and bin it to keep our paths and parks clean.
